Actor and Author Tyler Merritt wrote I Take My Coffee Black. During his first Instagram live promoting the book, he asked three guests: MSNBC anchor Joy-Ann Reid, Actress Yvette Nicole Brown, and Actress Rutina Wesley. Those questions are What is your favorite hip-hop artist of all time, Favorite musical, One thing you wish people knew about you, Sliding door moment, and How do you take your coffee. I changed the first question to an artist. I don’t listen to many hip-hop artists. Here are my answers.

1. Favorite Artist of all time: Celine Dion and Whitney Houston

3. One thing you wish people knew about you.

Coloring in coloring books isn’t relaxing to me. Writing is what comforts me.

4. Sliding Door Moment: I regret not doing American Studies English and History Classes with one of my favorite history teachers and Not doing the communication university program during high school.

5. How do you take your coffee?

I don’t drink coffee. My Starbucks order is strawberry acai refresher or passion tango tea with lemonade.
